Peer Recruiting Fall 2026
Bring the fun of Scouting to your friends
Every fall, we welcome new Scouts and families to join the adventure. That’s what Fall Recruitment is all about: bringing more friends into Scouting.
How to participate:
Share the adventure and fun of Scouting with your friends. Here’s how you can bring friends into Scouting:
1. Think of three friends who aren’t in Scouting yet but would love the adventures you’re having.
2. You’ll find three postcards in your envelope. Write your friends’ names and invite them to your next pack or troop meeting (or another fun activity). (If you didn’t receive your peer recruiting cards in the mail, that’s ok! You can still win prizes for bringing a friend into Scouting.)
3. Let your unit leader know who you’ve invited so they can be ready to welcome them.
If your friend joins Scouting by Oct. 15, you’ll be entered to win a $100 Amazon gift card. Notify your unit leader and ask them to submit your name, unit number and the name of the Scout you recruited here.
Each friend you recruit = one entry into the drawing. There will be one drawing for Cub Scouts and one drawing for older youth (Scouts BSA).
The winners will be announced Oct. 23 and notified via email and phone call within 24 hours. (We will use the Scout’s primary guardian and unit Key 3 contact info from my.scouting.)
