The Occoneechee Council, Scouting America (Owner or Council) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide engineering and grant administrative services for a High Hazard Potential Dam Rehabilitation construction project (Project) at the Occoneechee Scout Reservation located in Moore County, North Carolina. Specifically, the dam identified by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) as Moore 074.
The selected firm will be required to assume responsibility as Engineer of Record (EOR) for the Preconstruction, Construction, and Certification phases of the Project, as defined under the North Carolina Dam Safety Act of 1967 and implementing regulations.
All phases of the Project’s work must be completed by September 24, 2027.
