Participants in the City of Raleigh Fire Exploring Post will gain hands-on exposure to the fire service through structured, real-world learning experiences. Youth will explore the fundamentals of firefighting, emergency response, rescue techniques, and fire safety procedures while learning directly from active fire professionals. Through demonstrations, practical activities, and station-based instruction, participants will build confidence, teamwork skills, and a deeper understanding of careers in fire and emergency services.
