Discover the Adventure of Scouting!

Scouting is more than an activity—it’s a journey where kids and teens make friends, become leaders, and experience the outdoors. Whether you’re new to Scouting or just curious, here’s what you need to know!

What Is Scouting?

Scouting is a worldwide movement that empowers youth through life skills, outdoor adventure, and leadership.

Boys and girls in our community join:

Cub Scouts (Grades K–5): Fun, hands-on activities for younger children.

Scouts BSA (Ages 11–17): Outdoor challenges, leadership opportunities, and badges in everything from first aid to science.

Venturing (Ages 14–20): A high-adventure, co-ed program where teens take on challenging outdoor activities, develop leadership skills, and plan their own adventures with peers.

Exploring (Ages 14–20): Teens get hands-on experience with real careers—like law enforcement, healthcare, engineering, and more—by working directly with local professionals.

Sea Scouts (Ages 14–20): A unique program for teens who love being on the water—offering boating, sailing, aquatic sports, and maritime leadership.
