A Night of Leadership: Celebrating the Eagle Scout Class of 2025

The Eagle Banquet is always special, but this year felt electric.

From the moment guests arrived, there was a sense of pride in the room. Families, leaders, and supporters gathered to celebrate years of hard work, perseverance, and service. One by one, Scouts crossed the stage to be recognized as members of the Eagle Scout Class of 2025. It is a milestone that represents far more than earning a rank. It represents character.

Real Voices. Real Stories.

Throughout the evening, Exploring Executive Adam Mottershead brought his signature energy as he interviewed Scouts live from the banquet floor. With simple but thoughtful questions like “If you could bring only one tool on a campout, what would it be?” He sparked answers that revealed experience, wisdom, and confidence.

We heard from Scouts like Musa, who reminded us that preparation and heart matter just as much as skill. We met siblings Evelyn and Andy, sharing their Scouting journey together. Abigail offered practical advice rooted in real outdoor experience.

These weren’t scripted speeches. They were authentic reflections from young leaders shaped by years of challenge and growth.

Courage in Action

The evening also included the presentation of the Medal of Merit, recognizing Scouts who used their training when it mattered most.

From performing the Heimlich at camp, to providing aid to a stroke victim, to making the extraordinary decision to donate bone marrow to save a sibling, these recipients demonstrated calm courage and selflessness. They didn’t just learn the skills. They lived them.

This is what being prepared truly means.

Eagle Scout Service Project Award Finalists

We also honored the Eagle Scout Service Project Award Finalists — Scouts whose projects demonstrated exceptional leadership and impact.

From building outdoor learning spaces and playground structures to organizing backpack drives, installing fencing, improving camps, and constructing bookshelves for CASA, these projects addressed real needs across our communities.

Each finalist showed initiative, organization, and the ability to lead others toward a meaningful outcome. Their work will continue serving families, schools, and nonprofits for years to come.

A Celebration Worth Dancing For

At one point in the evening, our Exploring Executive and Program Executive were so energized by the number of new Eagle Scouts crossing the stage… they started dancing.

And honestly? That joy said it all.

Becoming an Eagle Scout is not easy. It takes years of commitment, resilience, leadership, and service. Watching so many young people reach that goal in one night is something worth celebrating — enthusiastically.

Looking Ahead

The Eagle Scout Class of 2025 leaves this banquet not just with recognition, but with responsibility. The skills developed through Scouting; leadership, teamwork, service, moral courage. These skills will shape their next chapters in college, careers, and community life.

We are incredibly proud of each of them.

Congratulations to the Eagle Scout Class of 2025. Your journey to Eagle was earned and your impact is just beginning.
