2007 Course Catalog and Information

University of Scouting LogoThe University will include 7 periods of instruction and a lunch break. Lunch is included in your registration fee. Please wear your scout uniform and bring paper and pencil/pen for notes. Appropriate handouts and materials will be provided based on the courses selected. It is suggested that unit leaders car pool together and to take a variety of courses to expand their unit knowledge.

Participants may register for courses in any of the colleges. For example a Cub Scouter may register for a Boy Scout or a General Studies course. A Venturer may take a General Studies or Boy Scout course. Our goal is for scouters to increase their knowledge by being exposed to all the different program areas of the Scout program. Any questions about your selections can be sent to the Dean of Student Affairs, who can offer course suggestions.
