Occoneechee Web site Committee
Action Request
Introduction
This page is designed to allow BSA Professionals and Volunteers from Occoneechee Council BSA, to submit a web site action request to a single body of responsible personnel hereafter known as "Occoneechee Website Committee" or "the Committee". Having "javascript" enabled is required to use this service.
Submission is done through your local email address for the following reasons:
- Simple requests can be made via email without uploading additional information. Rewording, grammar corrections, spelling, additions, omissions, etc.
- Submissions are limited to 5MB per request. Defeating "Denial of Service" requests from hackers.
- Your email address is validated, before sending. Do not use the "Reply To" feature of email or your request will be rejected.
- The eases the burden of the recipients having to retrieve or download requests.
- Recipients can receive request from anywhere.
- Email is scanned for viruses, SPAM, spies and malware prior to delivery.
- This email address is concatenated using javascript, thus defeating hackers web mining attempts.
- The bandwidth being used is yours and not Occoneechee's. This stops the system from being slowed down by large and/or multiple requests.
- Members of the Committee all receive the request at the same time.
Turn-Around Time for Requests
- Approval Process:
- Development time: Usually same day, dependant on the size/complication of the submission.
- Emergency Requests:
