How Does Someone Become A Commissioner?
- The Council Commissioner is elected at the annual meeting of the local council. The Assistant Council Commissioner is recruited by the Council Commissioner.
- District Commissioners are approved and appointed by the council executive board, with the concurrence of the Scout executive, on the recommendation of the district nominating committee. Assistant District Commissioners are recruited by the District Commissioner.
- Unit Commissioners and Roundtable Commissioners are recruited by the District Commissioner or applicable Assistant District Commissioners.
