Since 1930, the BSA has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting. Cub Scouting (including Tiger Cubs) is a year-round family-oriented part of the BSA program designed for boys who are in first through fifth grades (or are 7, 8, 9, and 10 years old). Lion Program

              Lions Program Quick Facts: The Lions is a pilot program of the Boy Scouts for Kindergarten-age boys. Lions must be 5 yrs old by September 30th to join. Since it is a pilot program, there are only a few units currently available to join, see the listing below.

The Triangle Nonprofit and Volunteer Leadership Center

Occoneechee Council and and The Triangle Nonprofit and Volunteer Leadership Center, located in Durham, NC,  are working together to count your Scouting hours toward THREE Award Programs through The Center.  The Center has been around since 1972 supporting nonprofit organizations.  Read more about them at www.thevolunteercenter.org.
