Boy Scout Roundtable

The Boy Scout Division Council Roundtable meeting is held to provide the following major functions:

Each month, with the exception of June and July, District volunteers, namely the District Boy Scout Committee members, are invited to come and obtain pertinent information and receive instruction. Those involved in the District Boy Scout committee with the following responsibilities should attend:

It is our plan to begin each meeting all together in a general session similar to a troop meeting, and then at the appropriate time break out into individual sub committee groups representing the above-mentioned areas of responsibility. The general session will contain all announcements with most of them on the printed agenda. We will try to keep the verbal announcements to as few as possible. A three-month calendar will be printed on the reverse side of the agenda with any date changes that may be necessary. Break out sessions will be to meet with various sub-committee groups for instruction, trainings and any necessary discussion. At the appointed hour we will dismiss for the evening in the break out sessions.

It is our hope that we can provide the necessary information for our district volunteers to assist them as they meet the demands of our local scout leaders.

We would like to encourage you to come to each monthly Council Roundtable and share your knowledge, skills, resources and handouts for the theme of that month

The standard Council Roundtable meeting format will be:

7:15 Pre-Opening
7:30 Opening and Announcements
7:50 New Scout Break-Out
