      National Scout Jamboree

      What Is The National Jamboree? Imagine 50,000 Scouts, Venturers, volunteers, and staff from all over the country, all gathered together for one big celebration of Scouting. Held once every four years, the national jamboree is a chance to camp out with friends, meet new friends, try high-adventure activities, learn new skills, and enjoy the outdoors.

      Responding to the ever increasing demand for summer camp staff housing, volunteers from the Order of the Arrow raise the walls on another staff cabin near the entrance to Camp Durant. The summer camp attendance continues to grow every year and in 2015, the camp staff will increase by another 4 members as well.

Training comes in many forms: classroom training, online training and field training to name a few.  Classroom and field training dates can be found by referencing our calendar and online training can be found at myscouting.org.  The following information is also helpful in determining which training you require.
